It was a short week for land auctions due to Memorial Day. Clinton County tops the market with a sale at $14,600/acre. There’s not much rain in the extended forecast. I’m hearing of some replant around. The crop year is getting a good start.

Allamakee County provided some strong site sales this week with the top being $27,400/acre. Happy Memorial Day to all my followers.

There were just a few auctions this week. Jasper County tops the market at $10,300/acre.

There was no auction activity this week. Please be safe planting.

Buchanan County takes the top spot this week at $16,196/acre, though there was not enough activity to test the market. It will be planting “go-time” soon as fields dry out.

There was not much activity but there was a strong sale in Sioux County this week at $26,600/acre. Planters have stopped due to rain.

Kossuth County tops this week at $12,000/acre. There is not enough activity to test the market.

Sioux County rings the bell this week with a sale at $23,750/acre. Rainfall is replenishing soil moisture across the state.

Likely for the first time, Louisa County tops the market this week with a jaw-dropping price of $21,050/acre. Rain has stopped fieldwork and planting. When things dry out, it will be go time!

Clay County rings the bell this week with a sale at $15,600/acre. April Fool’s Day is Wednesday - be prepared! Planting season is beginning. Please be safe.

Sioux County takes top position this week with a sale at $26,800/acre. March is coming to an end and auction volume will fall off for planting season and most of growing season.

Carroll County rings the bell again this week with a sale at $17,700/acre. We were blessed with one late winter snowstorm but spring weather is in the extended forecast.

Lyon County tops the market this week with a sale at $25,600/acre. Several strong sales this week.
