Iowa Land Auction Prices, November 5-11, 2022

Delaware County tops the market this week at $40,500/acre. This tract was in an area transitioning to development and does not reflect agricultural value. Sioux County takes honorable mention with a sale at $30,000/acre (we now have a $30,000/acre club in Iowa!). This sale is a new record in Iowa for ag land, it had no development influence nor wind turbine income, and was purchased for corn and soybean production. Auction activity will be very brisk over the next 30 days.
