Iowa Land Auction Prices, October 8-14, 2022
Posted on October 17, 2022 at 8:58 AM by Jim Rothermich
Plymouth County takes top honors this week with a sale at $26,250/acre, breaking the last state record of $26,000/acre set in Sioux County on August 31, 2022. It is the highest sale I know of in the state of Iowa not influenced by development or income from a wind turbine. There are now two farms in Iowa’s $26,000/acre club. Honorable mention goes to Pocahontas County with a sale at $14,400/acre. There are many land auctions booked for the next 60 days, so more records could be set before the end of the year. Stay tuned…
“That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!”
