Sioux County tops the market with a whopping $26,000 per acre sale. Purchased by two local farmers, this sale is the first member of Iowa’s $26,000 per acre club. Farms in this club cannot have wind turbine(s), solar panels, development potential in the foreseeable future, or anything else that may enhance the value other than corn and soybean production. Stay tuned as there will likely be new members this fall. Dubuque County gets honorable mention with a sale at $23,200/acre.
Expect a busy fall sales season.
