Iowa Land Auction Prices, July 16-22, 2022

O’Brien County tops the market again this week with a $21,050/acre sale. Black Hawk County gets honorable mention with a sale at $19,600/acre. With three “no sales” and a couple of sales that struggled to meet the reserve, I think the market is starting to show signs of “leveling.” Market conditions have been going up every month for some time, so “leveling” was eventually going to happen. I don’t think things are turning down; the market is still very strong.
