Iowa Land Auction Prices, June 11-17, 2022
Posted on June 20, 2022 at 9:30 AM by Jim Rothermich
Clay County tops the market this week with a sale at $20,100/acre on 232 acres. Honorable mention goes to Sac County with a $19,250/acre sale.
High land prices are loosening some farms that have been in tight hands for generations. One example can be found in a family farm sale that occurred in Franklin County on June 15. These 160 acres had been in the same family since 1887, or 135 years. Grover Cleveland was the 22nd president in 1887. There are a lot of acres going to auction over the next two weeks, offering many opportunities for buyers.
“That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!”
