Iowa Land Auction Prices, March 19-25, 2022

This week, Linn County tops the market with a sale at $26,250/acre. This sale was in a transitional area near Cedar Rapids. Honorable mention goes to Sioux County at $22,100/acre. Shout out to Calhoun County with a cash rent auction: 165.81 acres, 3-year term, CSR2 84.8, $438.50 per acre annual payment - $5.17/CSR2 point. Per ISU 2021 Cash Rent Survey, Calhoun County average cash rent on high-quality land was $265 per acre or $3.22/CSR2 point (Calhoun County weighted overall CSR2 82.2). The land market continues to be very strong with no signs of slowing.
