Iowa Land Auction Prices, February 12-18, 2022

Lyon County tops the market this week with sales at $18,500/acre and $17,600/acre. Honorable mention goes to Muscatine County with a sale at $16,200/acre. Next week will be a very active week for land auctions. Recent grain supply and demand reports are making markets volatile. Higher corn & soybean prices show up in land prices almost instantly. If Russia invades Ukraine, expect even more volatility. Next week will be a good test as to how the land market will respond to current events.
