Iowa Land Auction Prices, October 23-29, 2021

Shelby County takes top honors this week with 312.2 acres selling for a whopping $17,600/acre and a total sale price of $5.49+ million. Another strong sale in Western Iowa. Honorable mention goes to Clinton County, in East Central Iowa, with a sale bringing $17,500/acre.
November is here! It’s the most active month for land auctions and there are some very good farms coming to the market. Never has there been such a supply of farms for sale. The best time to buy a farm is when it is for sale.
“That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!”
