Iowa Land Auction Prices, September 25-October 1, 2020

Auction activity is slowing down for harvest. It was another good week with only one sale below $100 per point. On Wednesday, the USDA announced big declines in U.S. soybean and corn stocks. Their report showed soybean stocks down 43% and corn down 10% from September 1, 2019. This news positively affected grain prices, which is good, as grain prices are highly correlated with land prices.
“That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!”
