Iowa Land Auction Prices, March 20-26, 2020

The 2019-2020 sales season is winding down with 729 acres auctioned, of which 571 acres were tillable. There is lots of uncertainty right now with the COVID-19 situation. What are land prices doing? Well, there really is not enough activity to measure. I can tell you that I have visited with several farm realtors and they are saying so far there is no effect. In fact, the realtors are saying in the past 2-3 weeks, there has been a huge increase of buyers looking for a safe investment. Land is that investment.
