Iowa Land Auction Prices, February 15-21, 2019

Iowa land sales were about even with last week with 2,327 acres auctioned, of which 1,858 were tillable. Auction activity really picked up in February as the supply of land coming to auction greatly increased. There was one “no sale” this week and there appears to be softness in some of the sales. We are still seeing good quality farms sell well but lower quality farms are being discounted.
