Iowa Land Auction Prices, November 30-December 06, 2018

It was another active week with 4,169 acres being offered, of which 3,749 were tillable. Auction activity is slowing down. Comparing November 2018 to November 2017, the amount of acres being offered at auction is down 1,000 acres. Comparing December 1-15, 2018 to same time in 2017, the amount of acres being offered at auction is down over 4,000 acres. It appears this trend will be consistent in January 2019. There are not a lot of auctions on the books the next 30 days. This will help keep prices stable.
