Iowa Land Auction Prices, September 21-27, 2018

Auction activity is slowing down for harvest season. Fewer acres were auctioned this week with 1,793 being offered, of which 1,655 acres were tillable. Localized price volatility continues. Most sales are stable to strong with some “softer” sales, along with a couple of “no sales.” I am hearing from realtors around the state that harvest yields are surprisingly good.
“That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!” Please check back next week to see what the Iowa land market is doing.
