Iowa Land Auction Prices, March 16-22, 2018

Considerably more acres were offered for auction this week as compared to last week. 2,902 acres were auctioned, of which 2,246 were tillable. Financial stress is bringing some farmland to the market. This is why we are seeing an uptick in the amount of acres being offered. There is still not enough supply of land for sale to accommodate the demand to buy. The market continues to be very stable.
