Iowa Land Auction Prices, January 26 - February 1, 2018

Slightly fewer acres were offered for auction this week as compared to last week. 1,530 acres were auctioned, of which 1,226 were tillable. All farms sold. As I call around and visit with realtors, a common statement is that investors are active in the market and the cash rent market is strong. Several realtors have stated that in their immediate market, cash rents are stable and they do not see any rents going down. This would be consistent with the strength of land prices.
