Iowa Land Auction Prices, September 15-21, 2017

Greetings! More acres of land were auctioned this week as compared to last. 2,685 acres of land were offered, of which 1,983 acres were tillable. There was one tract that was a “no sale” but the realtor was very confident that the farm would be sold very soon. Several investor buyers were successful at getting land bought. There were a couple of sales the realtor considered “light” but the majority of the sales either met or exceeded expectations. Here are the highlights:

I continue to hear from realtors that they are expecting a very active fall for selling farms. The market is still very strong.
